Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back – Princess Leia 1/6th scale

With Hot Toys celebrating Star Wars Day, they’ve announced the Princess Leia 1/6th scale collectible figure from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Pop! Disney: Pirates of the Caribbean

It’s almost summer, so that means we should be expecting another Pirates of the Caribbean blockbuster to hit theaters. Funko is already prepping with one of their latest announcements, the lineup of their Pop! Disney: Pirates of the Caribbean series from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. The series includes Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and the pirate hunter Captain Salazar
as Pop! vinyl figures. There is also a chase variant Ghost Salazar – a 1-in-6 rarity. And a Hot Topic exclusive weathered Gold Jack Sparrow.

Masters of the Universe Classics from Super7

The Masters of the Universe Classics line continues with eight new exciting Eternians from the folks at Super7. They’ve announced the next assortment of Classics and Club Grayskull figures. Each assortments will be made up of four deluxe, fully articulated action figures that stand 7 inches tall and a number of accessories.
The Masters of the Universe Classics (shown above) assortment includes Quakke, Fangor, Hawke, and Lodar.

The Club Grayskull assortment (shown directly above) includes Hordak, Man-At-Arms, Teela, and Tri-Klops.

The Living Dead Dolls Series 34

Mezco has announced the lineup for The Living Dead Dolls Series 34. Each 10-inch tall figure features 5 points of articulation and real cloth clothing. They come packed in their own coffin with personalized nameplate and death certificate. The included dolls are: Canary; Ash Lee; Tommy Knocker; Coalette; Soot. You can currently pre-order the entire set for $160.00. Look for them to begin shipping between September and November 2017.

Pop! Television: Workaholics

The telemarketing gurus Blake, Adam, and Anders from the Comedy Central show Workaholics are now in Pop! vinyl form. Funko has announced the Pop! Television: Workaholics series of figures. As they struggle into adulthood, these characters are stuck in a college mindset. Spending most of their days avoiding work, they can’t help but continue to look for a good time.

Kickstarter: Ed Repka’s Monsterdom

Monsterdom is a premium wax pack sticker set and is limited to just 500 packs. An homage to classic monster trading cards from the 60’s and 70’s, Monsterdom features a variety of fantastically fiendish faces of aliens, monsters, ghouls and ghosts, as well as stories of their horrifying creation– all packaged in a vintage wax wrapper as only SideKick Lab can make. The complete sets are available for $20.00 on Kickstarter, and include a special artist promo card featuring Ed Repka himself. Other rewards include autographed cards, uncut sheets, and original hand-drawn sketch cards.

H.R. (Bad Brains) Statuette

Press Pop has announced the H.R. (Bad Brains) Statuette, featuring the stylized likeness of the original hardcore punk band Bad Brains. Made with PVC and ABS, the statuette has articulation in the neck. The 9-inch tall piece features a t-shirt and pants that are made from actual fabric. This is a must-have for all Bad Brains and punk rock fans. Look for it to retail for $50.00.

Pop! Games: Elder Scrolls

Prepare to return to Mororwind and explore the iconic island of Vvardenfell. Funko has announced that Naryu, Warden, and Vivec – from the new Chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind – will make up the Pop! Games: Elder Scrolls series. The new Elder Scrolls story will be released on June 6th 2017.

Adult Swim Blind Box Mini Series

Kidrobot has released their brand new Adult Swim Blind Box Mini Series. Featuring characters from Rick & Morty, Venture Brothers, Samurai Jack, Fish Center, Robot Chicken, Squidbillies, the smash viral hit Too Many Cooks and everyone’s cult favorite app Robot Unicorn Attack, this series has something for the late-nighter in us all. You can pick up these 3-inch tall figures for $9.99 per blind box.

Pop! Television: Alias

Only eleven years after the last episode aired, Funko is celebrating Jennifer Garner’s iconic spy role in the Pop! Television: Alias series. Featuring four different versions of Sydney Bristow’s multiple aliases, you’ll be able to pick her up with Blonde hair, in a Goth style, a School Girl, or as a Redhead.

The Rust-lings

Pocketwatch Toys has released a small edition of handmade resin figures. The Rust-ling Series includes eight different characters, each one measuring around an inch tall and being hand cast in polyurethane resin. The weathered little collectibles are available to purchase for £7.00 each (about $9).

Return of the Sectaurs

Zica Toys has announced that they’ll be reincarnating the Sectaurs line – extremely popular back in the mid-80’s. There are 10 figures planned for the first wave, which will likely be funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Wave one is set to include 8 main character from the original Coleco toy line, plus a pair of army builders. These will all be in 4-inch scale. The first two they’re showing off are Dargon and General Spidrax.

Being a fan of the line as a kid, I can’t wait to see them produced. The only thing is that we’ll need to wait until a Wave 2 to get any of the crazy insect hand puppet things.
