ESC-Toy has announced a new Kickstarter project bringing the beloved Oddworld characters Abe and Munch to plush form. Each character will be presented as a collectible plush with a sound-chip function. In addition to the plush, there are a limited edition items that are must haves Oddworld fans. Each plush is available at the $25.00 funding level, with the pair being available at the $45.00 level ($35.00 for early birds).
Two new limited edition pin designs from The Artpin Collection are now available from Rotofugi. Both pins measure 1.25′ inches in size and come with a backing card.
Junction by Nathan Jurevicius is representative of the artist’s distinct style. It’s based on his 2015 graphic novel of the same title, which was also adapted into a short animated film. Two colorways are available in editions of 105 pieces each.
Bunnyfish by Kozyndan is a new rendition of the beloved character portrayed in numerous of the artist duo’s works since the mid 2000’s. Long awaited by many Kozyndan fans, the bunnyfish is finally available in two colorways – blue and teal. The pins are limited to 80 pieces of each colorway.
“No, it’s not a Bullfrog Cowboy!” (we call him Frank) is a one of a kind custom mash-up of a Plaseebo hand cast resin head on a Plaseebo vinyl Night Gamer body with a leather neck rag. He also has inset eyes and a motion activated color-changing LED unit in his belly. The piece stands in at 6 inches tall and is painted with Monster Kolor. The custom comes signed by artist Bob Conge.
Threezero is teasing another new 1/6th scale figure from another new license. This one is Agent Mulder from The X Files. Featuring the unmistakable likeness of David Duchovny as Agent Fox Mulder, there are currently no details on just when this figure will go up for pre-order. But we will let you know.
The terror that flaps in the night, Darkwing Duck! And he’s now joining the Funko family. The Pop! Disney: Darkwing Duck series will include Darkwing Duck, his sidekick Launchpad McQuack, and his daughter Gosalyn Mallard. They’re all getting that (now) classic Pop! vinyl treatment.

Funko has announced their Mystery Mini: Star Wars series of collectibles mini figures. This series of blind boxed figures features Star Wars favorites such as Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, C-3PO, and many more. Look for them to be released in the summer of 2017.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 has arrived in theaters, and Hot Toys has announced a number of Guardians to their Cosbaby family. The latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Cosbaby Bobble-Head Series 2 is composed of 4 devoted Guardians including Star-Lord, Rocket with Groot on his head, Mantis, Yondu and Nebula. There will be two sets to choose from
Now available in the Argonaut Resins online store are the all new resin cast blank Spraycan Magnets Series 2 for customizers. These bigger magnets measure 4.5 inches tall and have more space to customize than the sold out Series 1 sold (3.5-inch pieces). They are sold in sets of two pieces and are available in solid white or ghost clear versions. Each one features a strong magnetic strip attached to its back. They’ll retail for $16.00 shipped in the US.

The folks at LootCrate have introduced a new monthly subscription service called SportsCrate. Featuring items from ten Major League Baseball teams, the Crate starts at $39.99 per month. Or you can pick up a season pass, which covers from May through September, for $179.99. You basically choose one team (Cardinals, Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, Mets, Rangers, Red Sox, Royals, Tigers, or Yankees) and receive 5 to 7 team specific items. What drew my eye was that LootCrate has produced their own line of action figures called Ballers.

Jackie Ashley, founder and owner of Shlii Kawaii Toys, has announced the launch of her newest Kickstarter project, Boston Terrier Mermaid Cute Plush Toys. In 2013, Jackie created the Norfolk Merdogs line, which is made up of cute mermaid-dogs. Merboston was one of the three original merdog characters and is well-loved by fans young and old.
In January 2017, Jackie started working with her production company to create a highly detailed, professionally produced Merboston plush toy. Each plush measures ten inches tall, is made with soft Minky fabric, and features professionally embroidered details. Plush production is extremely expensive, so Merboston can only be produced with the help of crowdfunding.
