"A is for Android"
Size: 14x18 inches
Medium: Acrylic on Masonite panel

This piece shows what the A-Team would look like if they were all robots...and if the "A" in A-Team stood for "Android".

"Grape Soda Teardrops"
From: "ALF" Season 1, Episode 3
Size: 9.75x12 inches
Medium: Acrylic on Masonite panel

This piece shows the scene from the episode where ALF is running away because they think ALF ate the family cat. He is going to find the cat and bring it back to them. While he was writing his goodbye letter, he spilled some grape soda on the paper, and called them teardrops.

REVIEW: Canned Haminal Plush

Canning average pigs is certainly a messy and time consuming task, since they are far too big to fit in a can. At last, this problem is no more. By condensing the cuteness of several ham-related animals, we have successfully created a canned-ham animal or…Haminal.

Crystal Chesney-Thompson created her Haminal character as a combination of pig, hamster and guinea pig – perfect for canning. A few years back, she released that character as a cute pink plush. And after selling out the first run of plushies in back to back San Diego Comic Cons, Crystal has released version two of the Haminal plush.

The Haminal packaging is the best we have seen for a plush figure. It’s “squeezed” (actually it fits perfectly) into a Spam-like plastic can. All four sides of the packaging have entertaining reading as well as fun illustrations. On one side are the nutritional facts, while the other contains serving instructions.  On the rear of the container is a recipe as well as the information from above.

REVIEW: The Green Lantern – Hal Jordan – TCF

Tonner Doll Company has continued adding characters to their DC Stars line with the recent release of the Green Lantern Tonner Character Figure. Like the previous figures in the line, they have focused on the Silver Age version of the comic book superhero.

While there have been several individuals who have portrayed the Green Lantern, the most well known is Hal Jordan (from the Silver Age). Jordan, a founding member of the Justice League of America, was a test pilot who was given a power ring by a dying alien.

The Green Lantern TCF comes packaged in Tonner’s DC Stars styled box. Since the figure uses their superhero style body, Tonner packages this piece in their slightly larger box. As with all of their TCF products, this figure is secured using Styrofoam and ribbons, has accessories packaged in separate bags, and has plastic and a hairnet protecting the piece.
