3A Toys is currently taking pre-orders for their WWR FAUST + DARIO 1/6th set, designed by artist Ashley Wood, over at Bambaland. The 1/6th scale set includes a 14.8-inch tall Faust Armstrong 1G and a 12-inch tall Dario Armstrong Handler. The set is currently available to pre-order for $420.00 (price includes worldwide shipping). It’s expected to begin shipping in Q4 of 2017.
Fresh Monkey Fiction has announced that their Amazing Heroes Wave 2, their Retroverse line of 4.5-inch tall action figures, will launch on Kickstarter in a few weeks. It looks like the series will include Cosmic Madman, Nexus, Stray, The American, Red Hook, Jon Sable, Midnight Tiger, and E-Man.
Funko has announced a new series of mini Dorbz figures based on the classic 1968 Planet of the Apes film. The Dorbz: Plant of the Apes series includes George, Cornelius, and Zira (limited to 5,000 pieces) from the classic Planet of the Apes movie. George has a chase variant featured in his astronaut suit.
Hot Toys has introduced the 1/6th scale Jyn Erso (Imperial Disguise Version) collectible figure based on the appearance of Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso in Imperial disguise. The highly accurate collectible figure features a newly painted head sculpt of Jyn Erso, an interchangeable Imperial Ground Crew helmet, expertly tailored costume, a pair of batons, a blaster pistol, and a specially designed figure stand.

Funko has announced announced that WWE superstars will be arriving in Pint Size Hero form. The Pint Size Heroes: WWE Superstars series features some of the biggest names in WWE. According the image above, there’s Kevin Owens, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Andre the Giant, Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, The New Day, Nikki Bella, Sasha Banks, Enzo Amore, The Ultimate Warrior, and Randy Savage. In addition, look for special exclusive characters at Toys “R” Us like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, and Finn Balor.
After what feels like years of waiting, Threezero is teasing yet another 1/6th scale figure from their AMC television The Walking Dead license. This time it’s a shot of Daryl Dixon’s (as portrayed by Norman Reedus) back. Collectors should be delighted that Threezero will be adding to The Walking Dead series that already includes (announced and released figures) Michonne, her Pet Walkers, Merle Dixon, and Rick Grimes.
For those not able to visit the “Its Not Funny” show at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center in Rochester NY, Bob Conge (Plaseebo) has sent along some photos of his pieces from the show. The event is on display through May 13th 2017, so you’ll still have a shot at checking on Bob’s (and all of the other artists) works live in-person.
Rotten Rexx by James Groman is back for 2017 in artist painted micro runs. The first version is from the 2015 Rotten Rexx painting contest winner Dski One. Lulubell Toys is offering up the right to purchase via lottery, with the lottery entry being open through April 14th 2017 at Noon PT. All winners will have 48 hours to complete payment, or another winner will be selected. The Rotten Rexx figure will run $250.00 plus shipping, with an estimated delivery date around the end of April.
Vigilante hacker and cybersecurity engineer Elliot Alderson is coming to Pop! vinyl. As a part of Funko’s Pop! TV: Mr. Robot series, joining him are his sister Darlene, friend Angela Moss, Dark Army hacker White Rose, and Mr. Robot himself. Elliot has a hooded chase variant with a rarity of 1-in-6.
Toy Art Gallery has announced the lottery details for the factory-painted Fuchsia Fight Luftkaiser figure from artist Paul Kaiju. This 4-inch tall articulated (at the arms and waist) piece features multiple metallic sprays and hand painted details and is made in Japan.
Clutter Magazine has announced their latest collaboration with Milwaukee-based artist Scott Wilkowski and LA native artist Luke Chueh. Known for his Infected and X-Ray versions of popular designer toys, Wilkowski has infected Chueh’s signature bear head, once again creating a collaboration that is to die for. Tomenosuke is bringing back the killer fish, created by two of the greatest monster makers – Rob Bottin who worked on “The Thing” (1982) and ”RoboCop” (1987), and Phil Tippett on the “Jurassic Park” (1993) and “Starship Troopers” (1997) – for a low-budget (and now cult) film “Piranha” (1978).
Under the supervision by the legendary Japanese producer, Chako Vanleeuwen, the Japanese monster maker Higa Brothers cast the real piranha prop model and have handcrafted each and every piece to authentically reproduce the original creature –the Piranha Prop Replica Model.
