Funko has announced a new series of blind box collectibles – the Mystery Minis: Classic Spider-Man series. The web-slinging arachnid man and his various nemeses are coming soon as Mystery Minis. Open the blind boxes to find a variety of spidey characters, including Spider-Man,
Spider-Gwen, and Scarlet Spider. You can also find iconic villains such as Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and Vulture.
Eastern Bazaar introduces Aviva – the Pink and Curious Jellyfish. From the City of Tel Aviv, Aviva represents Love, Freedom and Creativity. Look for it to start hitting your favorite vinyl shops and to retail around $24.95.
Hot Toys is teasing what could only be their upcoming 1/6th scale Jack Sparrow collectible figure from the upcoming Disney film – Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Men Tell No Tales. Fans of the films series will be happy to see Hot Toys release their first Jack Sparrow figure since the 2011 On Stranger Tides figure.
Hot Toys has announced a new addition to their 1/6th scale Star Wars collectible figure lineup. The 1/6th scale Death Star Gunner from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope is specially crafted based on the appearance of the character in the film. It features the greatly detailed Death Star Gunner’s unique helmet, expertly tailored outfit that can be interchanged between the two styles of Death Star Gunner’s looks, a blaster pistol, and figure base.

Kidrobot has released the 8-inch tall Visible Dunny by artist Jason Freeny. He’s given fans an inside view of Kidrobot’s classic Dunny platform with the ultimate transparent view, clear on the outside with a skeletal view on the inside. The main line colorway is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide and the Kidrobot.com exclusive glow in the dark version is limited to 200 pieces worldwide.
ToyQube has announced that their 4.75-inch tall vinyl Boxing Brain will be available for preorder beginning today (March 20th 2017) at 11AM ET. From artist Ron English, the 4.75-inch Boxing Brain Series 01 will feature the original Red colorway, as well as Gold, Sliver, and Clear. Each one is individually packed, and available for $25.00. They’re expected to begin shipping in mid/late April 2017.
Funko is introducing a brand-new wave of Pop! vinyl figures from the hit video game series Gears of War. The Pop! Games: Gears of War series features the older and more grizzled Marcus Fenix from Gears of War 4 and his Delta Squad comrades – Dominic Santiago, Damon Baird, and Augustus Cole. You can also collect Oscar Diaz, uncle of Kait Diaz, and the 6-inch tall super-sized Brumak Pop!, the reptilian-like creature from the Hollow.
Mezco has announced the pre-order availability of their Old Man Logan One:12 Collective figure, which features a detailed outfit and portrait. He also includes the baby Hulk who may be the last of the Banner bloodline. The figure is expected to ship between November 2017 and January 2018. It’s currently available to pre-order for $80.00.
Funko has announced a new series of Dorbz: Looney Tunes figures. You can collect your favorite old-school cartoon characters – Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, and Pete Puma (okay, no one remembers Pete Puma). Bugs and Daffy each have a chase variant with a rarity of 1 in 6. Bugs’s chase holds a carrot, and Daffy’s sports his Stupor Duck costume.
With the live-action remake of Disney’s classic Beauty and the Beast hitting theaters tomorrow, Hot Toys has introduced a pair of new Cosbaby collectible sets featuring characters from the film. The first Cosbaby collectible set features Belle and Beast in their iconic ballroom dance outfits (shown above). The second collectible set features Belle in her villager look with Lumière, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip.Look for these to be released between Q1 and Q2 of 2017.
Mezco has just revealed their biggest mystery box ever – The Box O’ Gold St Patrick’s Day Mystery Box. Each mystery box, retailing for $55.00, contains over $100 worth of Mezco products. Some will feature One:12 Collective merchandise. Some will contain The Living Dead Dolls products. Other may contain items from Chucky, Hellraiser III, Beetlejuice, Mortal Combat, The Conjuring, or other lines. And three lucky randomly selected customers will receive a special extra-large Box O’ Gold St Patrick’s Day Mystery Box containing over $500 worth of merchandise.
Just in time for the June release of the upcoming film, Captain Underpants is joining the Funko family. The Pop! Movies: Captain Underpants lineup includes the kind-hearted and elastic-banded hero (Captain Underpants) and his nemesis, the villainous scientist Professor Poopypants. Professor Poopypants is also available in his pink suit, available exclusively at FYE.
Darkstonetoys is a new company that’s currently taking pre-orders for their Shadow the Assassin Raccoon resin figure based on the illustrations of Juan Carlos Valdez, a Miami based artist. So what you’re seeing here is a 3-D render. The pre-order is so the piece can get funded and made (basically Kickstarter minus the slight feeling of security of Kickstarter). The plans are for this resin piece to measure 7 inches tall. There will 2 colorways aside from the main color version. And it runs $75.00.
High Proof Toys is releasing eight one of a kind Marbled Rock Types (four Regular and four Evolved). The Regular Rock Types are priced at $25.00 each and the Evolved Rock Types (those with legs) are priced at $32.00 each. In addition, they’ll be releasing their first batch of Blind Bag Tiny Boots zipper charms. These are priced at $6.00 each and some colorways are more rare than others.
Fools Paradise has announced the pre-order availability of their Scout.Troop at Coin Rides Game #5 figure. The pre-order period lasts until March 28th 2017, with a maximum run of 299 pieces worldwide. The nearly one-foot tall vinyl and PVC collectible will begin shipping in Q2 of 2017. So if you’ve been dying to get your hands on a scantily-clad Biker Scout riding on a coin-operated speeder ever since you saw that movie with all of the fuzzy Ewoks, you can pre-order one now for $269.00 plus $30.00 for global shipping.
