WorryWoo creator Andi Green will be hosting a WorryWoo Workshop on Kid's Day at the New York Comic Con. Join Andi on Sunday October 16th 2011 at 2:30PM on the Hasbro Stage as she talks about creating a WorryWoo Monster and reads her latest book 'Don't Feed The WorryBug'.
After the reading, Green will conduct a "Color-a-Woo" workshop. This will be accompanied by a "LIVE" guest appearance of Wince, The Monster of Worry, and his best pal Squeek, The Monster of Innocence.
If you can't make it out for Sunday, stop by The WorryWoo Monster Booth - #3017.
Super7 will be hosting a raffle prize drawing for an Unpainted Taoking and autographed TPB (trade paperback) of The Big Guy And Rusty The Boy Robot by Geof Darrow. The drawing will take place at the Super7 Booth #688 at New York Comic Con on Sunday October 16th 2011 at 3:00PM. There's a limit of one entry per person.
Well…this is interesting. Apparently, Kidrobot was set to release Kronk’s Yankee Pig Dog Labbit: Biological Warfare Edition, but there were some production issues that weren't caught until they received the stock. Rather than just trying to pass it off to the customers, they've dropped the price on this 7" Labbit.
The Biological Warfare Edition is military green and wears a toxic pink, beige, and lime uniform. It's limited to only 300 pieces worldwide and will sell for $69.00 (down from $100). Your first shot at picking one up will be at New York Comic Con on October 14th 2011.
What are your thoughts? Is 31% off enough of a discount for a product that is admitedly flawed? What about $5.00 over production cost? Or maybe just not released a subpar quality figure...?
Bob Conge (Plaseebo) will have a "murder of Skulloctipy" at New York Comic Con...about 10 of them. Each one is a unique hand-paint and offered at the show price of $75.00. All have color-changing LED units to light up their brain inserts, with glass or plastic eyes, and come signed.
Find Bob cruisning the floor on Thursday and Friday...or at the Tenacious Toys Booth #876 on Saturday at 3:00PM.
If you missed out on the O-No Sashimi Redfish in Coconut STGCC edition, you'll be glad to hear that Andrew Bell will be releasing a small number of the regular O-No Sashimi Red Snapper edition beginning at New York Comic Con. Stop by the Dumbrella booth #788, but if they sell out...this version will be making its way to retailers.
Rich Page (UmeToys) has produced this one-off exclusive Pumpkin Head for NYCC. It will be at the Big Kev's Geek Stuff booth (E7), with Rich being there on Saturday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM and Sunday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
Jared Deal has a few more exclusives that will be making their way to New York Comic Con 2011. He will be at Booth #789 along with some Albino Vlad Plush and his Vlad Mega Munny. Also, Jared's NYCC pre-sale starts today (October 12th) from Noon to Midnight ET at Jared Deal's website.
