Welcome to Twin Peaks Sign Monitor Mate Bobble

With the new Showtime limited event series that premiered this past Sunday, Entertainment Earth has announced its first 2017 San Diego Comic Con Convention Exclusive – the Welcome to Twin Peaks Sign Monitor Mate Bobble. The resin sign looks much like the famed sign from the series, apart from being scaled down to fit on top of your computer monitor and being attached to springs for a bobbling effect. This official Twin Peaks collectible from Bif Bang Pow! has a limited production run of 1,200 pieces. It will be available at SDCC at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343 and for pre-order online for $11.99.

Summer Exclusive Mega Scale Lion-O Light-Up Eyes Variant

Mezco has announced the first of their Summer Exclusives – the Mega Scale Lion-O Light-Up Eyes Variant from the 1980’s television cartoon series Thundercats. The figure features a light-up element that recreates his fiery glowing eyes as seen in the show. Activating the discreet switch hidden on the back of his head causes Lion-O’s eyes to blaze with the Sight Beyond Sight.

The Monkees Titans Figures

Titan Merchandise are teaming up with RHINO to release five 4.5″ TITANS Vinyl Figures featuring The Monkees – Davy, Micky, Peter, and Mike and their super-iconic Monkeemobile. Each Monkees figure is individually window-boxed and they’ll be presented in their classic Season One red tunics. Each member of the band comes with an accompanying musical instrument accessory (maracas for Davy, drumsticks for Micky, bass guitar for Peter and twelve-string for Mike).

Pop! WWE: Series 6

Funko has announced new series of WWE Pop! vinyl figures, this time combining some old school wrasslers with current superstars. The Pop! WWE: Series 6 features Chris Jericho (holding The List of Jericho), “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, “The Boss” Sasha Banks, and The Iron Sheik. There are Million Dollar Man and Iron Sheik variants available (a 1-in-6 rarity). In addition, look for this WWE 2-pack Enzo & Cass, available exclusively at Walgreens.

P Grove Robot Krieger from threeA

threeA will make their P Grove Robot Krieger 1/6th scale collectible figure available for pre-order beginning on May 29th 2017 only at Bambaland (I’m assuming this means the evening of May 28th for US residents). From designer Ashley Wood, the above pictured figure will be available in three different packages. The P Grove Robot Krieger (the girl) will sell for $160.00. The Black Onyx Bot Head (that’s only the bot head) will sell for $170.00. And the Peppermint Grove Death Of Black Onyx Set (that’s both the figure and bot head) will sell for $280.00. And all of those prices include worldwide shipping.

Emblem of an Abstract Riot no.2 by Patrick Wong

Patrick Wong has announced the release of his latest resin sculpture entitled “Emblem of an Abstract Riot no.2”. The artwork further explores the theme of failure in protest, riot, and revolt common in many of the art toys and customs from the artist in recent years. It is also the followup piece to the 2015 released resin sculpture “Emblem of an Abstract Riot”.

Cast in solid urethane resin and features an extinguished wick within a molotov cocktail, the piece riffs on The Simpsons cartoon with various elements appropriated directly from the show. “Emblem of an Abstract Riot no.2” measures 6 x 6 x 3.75 inches. It’s available to order through the artist’s webshop (linked above), with handcrafted resin art-multiples priced at $200.00 each.

Mystery Mini: Dr. Seuss

Now joining the Mystery Minis line are a series of figures from classic Dr. Seuss tales such as Horton, The Lorax, Fox in Socks, The Grinch, and Sam I Am. Funko has announced the Mystery Mini: Dr. Seuss series of blind-boxed figures. You’ll also be able to grab exclusive characters such as White Fish, The Cat in the Hat Fish, and an additional Cat in the Hat only at Barnes & Noble.

Hot Toys announces Jack Sparrow Cosbabies

Not only has Hot Toys announced a 1/6th scale Jack Sparrow figure from the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales film, but now they’re introducing a pair of Cosbaby figures based on Sparrow’s appearance in the new movie. Each Cosbaby stands about 4.25 inches in height with 3 points of articulation (neck and wrists) and includes a detachable base.

This series includes two Jack Sparrow figures, each one with a distinctive personality. At the top, you can see the Jack Sparrow Fighting Pose Cosbaby (S). This figure includes a removable hat. The Jack Sparrow Cosbaby (S) figure, shown below features Sparrow with a goofy look (and does not include a hat). Look for them to be released around Q2 – Q3 of 2017.

Pop! Movies: Justice League

Funko has announced a new series of Pop! figures based on the upcoming DC comics Justice League film. The Pop! Movies: Justice League series features Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash, and Aquaman in mini vinyl form.

The film is slated to be released on November 17, 2017, but you can currently pre-order the figures over at Amazon.com.

DST x DC Comics Minimates and Vinimates

Diamond Select Toys has announced Series 5 of its Marvel Animated Minimates collection , which will hit shops on July 1st 2017 and include four different two-packs. The assortment includes: Spider-Girl facing off with Hulk Carnage. Ms. Marvel battling Kang the Conqueror. Iron Man’s Mark II armor going up against Proxima Midnight. And Bruce Banner in Hulkbuster Armor to take on the gamma-irradiated genius The Leader.

Also, DST has announced the DC Comics Vinimates Vinyl Figures Series 1. This new line of comic-based Vinimates kicks off with three figures – Batman, Green Lantern, and Harley Quinn. Each blocky 4-inch tall PVC figure strikes a distinctive pose from the comics. And each one will run $9.99.

Kosrobot’s Summer Releases

Kosrobot has announced a new wave of releases including two new Cosmos Cold figures, which are a mix between the Dreary One and Blaming One figures that were released previously. These versions are the “Blaming Yellow” and “Blaming Orange”. The 6-inch tall hand-cast resin figures have three points of articulation (arms and neck) and are priced at $36.00 each.

There are also the new Tsihata “Blood Red” figures, which is completely translucent, and two Tsihata re-releases – “Black ‘n’ White” and “Negative” edition. The Tsihata figures measure 4.4 inches tall are hand-cast, hand-painted, and priced at $17.00 each.

The Living Dead Dolls present The Exorcist

Mezco and The Living Dead Dolls have announced The Exorcist (and little Regan MacNeil) will be joining the ranks of the undead dolls. “The Exorcist burst onto the cinematic scene in 1973 and quickly cemented its place in film history as the 1st horror film nominated for an Academy Award. The film tells the terrifying story of the demonic possession of a young girl and her Mother’s attempts to win back her child through an exorcism conducted by two priests.”
