Kickstarting the Mini-Cheestroyer

Bad Teeth and Double Haunt have set up a Kickstarter campaign to produce a vinyl version of their Mini-Cheestroyer toy. The recent resin releases of the figure have all sold out, so they've taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for a 4.5-inch vinyl with articulated head and waist joints.

Pledges starting at $35.00 AUD (about $31), can pick up a vinyl Mini-Cheestroyer in a variety of options: Glow in the Dark, Crystal Clear, and Clear with Guts. Other pledge rewards include hand-painted resins, clear resins and copies of the Cheestroyer comic book. Stretch goals include a variant head for the toy and a micro figure of the original "Cheese" character.

This project will only be funded if at least $5,500.00 AUD is pledged by Thursday December 12th 2013 at 10PM ET.

30 Years Of Garbage: The Garbage Pail Kids Story

30 Years Of Garbage: The Garbage Pail Kids Story is a Kickstarter funded documentary slated celebrate the 30th anniversary of Topps’ Garbage Pail Kids Cards. If all funds are raised, they will be interviewing the original creators of the popular 1980’s trading card series. And there will be plenty of super-fans and artists who were directly impacted by GPKs.

The majority of Kickstarter contributions will go towards travel expenses, crew, and camera equipment rental for creator/artist interviews. They've secured interview commitments from original Garbage Pail Kids Creators: Art Spiegelman, Len Brown, Mark Newgarden, John Pound, Tom Bunk, Jay Lynch and others.

And there are some great funding rewards (including a GPK Paper Foldable). However, this project will only be funded if at least $75,000 is pledged by Sunday January 5th 2014 at 11:59PM EST. Please...don't let me down.

Help Kickstart 9DKP from Erick Scarecrow

9DKP (9 Deadly Killer Pussies) is a new anime about nine different people that are randomly chosen to receive shape shifter powers. These powers are given to them once a cat demon named Babusa is accidentally freed from his imprisoned state within the 9 Eyes Stone. The story is set to be centered around the last member of the 9DKP, who thinks he won his powers through a prize, and feels he doesn't need to be in the team since he's "NUMBER 1".

Created by Erick Scarecrow of ESC-Toy, the 9DKP anime project will be hand animated by Asahi Production and dubbed in English. Through their Kickstarter project, the goal is to produce an 20 minute long episode. Of course, as stretch goals are met, the length of the film will grow.

The project will only be funded if at least $159,999 is pledged by Wednesday December 18th 2013 at 9:36PM EST. And there are plenty of toy-related funding rewards, including plush and resin figures.

Kickstart Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalt

BMOG Toys has taken to Kickstarter to help raise funds for their Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalt line. They are building toy system that lets you make robotic animal characters from components that can be used as action figure accessories - with plenty of modern or vintage toy lines. Each Bio-Mechanical Ordnance Gestalt figure will come on a model kit-style plastic sprue and include a decal sheet.

While the first main colorway for Ursenal and Mantax is black, contributors of the Kickstarter project ($15 and above levels) will receive one or more figures in a special colorway produced only for this Kickstarter funding project.

The Kickstarter project will only be funded if at least $19,000 is pledged by Friday December 13th 2013 at 2:35PM EST.

MimoPower BatteryBot

Mimoco has introduced MimoPower BatteryBot - a rechargeable backup battery for smartphones, tablets and mobile devices. This is their first in the MimoPower line of mobile charging accessories.

They're going the Kickstarter route in order to get the initial 10 BatteryBot designs kicked off. These designs are from the Animal Critterz and Core Series collections. Personally, I feel like they would gain much more support (and funds) by not including the licensed BatteryBots as part of their stretch goals.

This project will only be funded if at least $65,000 is pledged by Friday November 22nd 2013 at 11:59pm EST.

I Bug You: Infecting the world!

So, she has has taken to Kickstarter to help raise funds to produce vinyl versions of the Bugs. The money raised on Kickstarter will be to used to produce the mold, manufacture vinyl figurines on a keychain/zipper pull, cover testing for hazardous material, and packaging.

This project will only be funded if at least $12,500 is pledged by Sunday December 8th 2013 at 12:13AM EST.
