The Level 5 Group and Kaching Brand had one of the most overwhelming displays at Comic Con. Not only did they have a life-sized Tetsujin 28 figure, but there was a ton of new vinyl on display. Work from TobyHK, Mizna Wada, various MOTUG members was well received. Arnie Kim had a number of amazing 12" figures including various Harrison Ford characters, Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan and several Bruce Lee characters.
Designer toy wholesaler - DKE Toys - had a ton of new products on-hand from a great number of different companies: Jamungo, NTF, Go Hero, Span of Sunset and more! There were also several exclusives for sale including a new Shawnimal and vinyl Mothman figures from David Horvath.
Richard and Debbie from Wheaty Wheat Studios were at 5 & A Dime during the time Comic Con was going on. The gallery was out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the Convention Center...and plus there was a BBQ happening daily.
Not only did Wheaty Wheat have exclusive Zliks (from Andrew Bell) but the also had artist signings as well as some AMAZING new prototypes.
Among the prototypes shown:
"Dog gone" by Brian Taylor
"Jack Rabbit" by Brian Taylor
"Phallic Mammary" by Phallic Mammary (pink with udders)
"DCTO" by Dacosta Bayley (leaf and red one)
"Dhall v1.0" by Cam De Leon (gray and red figure on the wall)
"Dolly" by MedFed (Blue pill)
McFarlane Toys were showcasing their sure to be popular line of LOST figures. The characters in Series 1 are: Locke, Jack, Charlie, Shannon, Kate and Hurley. They will also have a smaller set that revolves around members of the island who found the hatch.
As usual, STRANGEco stocked Comic Con with a ton of exclusives. Mozzarella, from tokidoki, and Jermaine Rogers' newest figure (129 - Shadow) for Wootini were some of my favorite exclusives of the entire show. They also had the second half of Mars-1 Invisible Plan set (the first being released at SDCC '05).
OK folks...so I missed Comic Con today because I was held up in my hotel room with a really bad migraine. I would have preferred weaving my way through 300 pound Stormtroopers...
Anyway...here are some photos of various booths and people at Comic Con. If you have any fun photos...please email them to me. Enjoy!
I took a picture of Nichole taking a picture of a Giant Munny. And check out Dunny Series 3

It's everyone's favorite wrestling league!
Attaboy's booth had signings galore...plus, the latest issue of Hi Fructose magazine.
Everyone's favorite designer flash drives were on display at SDCC. Not only were there exclusive mimobots, but mimoco also had a number of upcoming artist series on display. These included the Devilmobotz - designed by Devilrobots - and are now available through the mimoco website.
Creatus Maximus debuted their Smart Bombs line at San Diego Comic Con. Their first 2 duo packs took on the likenesses of Batman and Robin and R2-D2 and C-3PO. Check out the drawings we have of the upcoming characters. There are also plans for a holiday themed duo pack.
Rocket World upsized this year. They have a bigger booth and a number of new products on display (and for sale). The SDCC exclusive bears - Sun Tzu and Midori - were going fast on preview night. I've seen the new Yeti and Sasquatch figures first hand, and I must say they are flocking great! If you're a fan of the IWG line...you'll notice that these 2 figures are a little larger than their cohorts. In addition to the vinyl figures, Patrick also had his Rocket World Diner Print on sale for $5 (a must-have for IWG fans) and prototypes of his creature hoodies.
