Background
The Monster Who Couldn't Decide is an entertaining illustrated tale from writer and artist Andi Green. The story revolves around Fuddle – The Monster of Confusion. While this specific WorryWoo Monster was previously released in plush form, Andi has made a few tweaks to the design. Therefore...this is the new Fuddle.
Fuddle, The Monster of Confusion, can never make up her mind. Do...Don’t...Up...Down...She’s so confused about making decisions. All she needs is a pat on the back and a few positive words. Wouldn’t you like to whisper in her ear “Go for it"?

Our Opinion
You're not having deja-vu. We actually did review the Fuddle WorryWoo Monster plush back in January 2009 (pictured below). You can check out that old Fuddle Review here. Well, artist Andi Green went back to the drawing board (or whatever kind of board you use to create a plush) and redesigned the plush to look a little closer to the illustrated version of the character.
If you haven't checked out any of the WorryWoo books, I strongly recommend them. All of the artwork is done in watercolors, which really give the characters a unique look. The plushies are more of a cute representation of those characters.
The first thing I noticed on the new version of Fuddle is that she no longer looks angry. The positioning of the eyebrows has been raised up about a half inch over the eyes (one touches the nose and the other doesn't). There are several other changes. The eye color has changed from a bright blue to more of a blue-gray. And the horns appear to be a little smaller, yet raised slightly higher.
The hair can actually be styled, so you can go with the frazzled look from my photos – or a slicked back style that's closer to the source illustrations. Fuddle has some long plush toenails...it might be time for a trip to the groomer for her. The embroidered dots and mouth don't show any space or stray strings. However, I'd like to see what Fuddle looks like with a straight line mouth, similar to the book cover.
OVERALL: While I like the WorryWoo Monsters plush line, if you haven't checked out Andi Green's illustrated books...you're missing out on some good stories and great artwork. It makes sense that she is selling the plush and book as a set (they're also available individually), because they really need to be enjoyed together.
