If you're into wrestling or monsters or wrestling monsters...you obviously had to check out the Kaiju Big Battel booth.  Toy-wise, they had their Vegetius figure available.  Not only did they have the original, but there was also a SDCC Exclusive glow-in-the-dark version.  And tons of shirts and videos.

Vegetius Vinyl Figure

Vegetius

Kaiju Big Battel, the world's only live monster wrestling spectacle, announces the release of its second monster toy (Vegetius), produced in collaboration with Marmit.

This brand new, beautifully painted Vegetius vinyl, featuring Kaiju’s most popular feral Rogue beast has been officially released for pre-sale in Japan.  The Vegetius vinyl is being sold for 5250 yen (about $50 U.S.) and stands approximately 11.5" tall.  As for the US release of the vinyl, the Kaiju Commissioner announced that Vegitius will be released state side at San Diego Comic Con in July.

You will also be able to pre-order the Vegetius figure at upcoming live Kaiju Big Battel events:

  • Boston at The Roxy on May 10th
  • Philadelphia at The Trocadero on June 1st
  • New York City at Webster Hall on June 7th

(Bloc Party) + (Kaiju Big Battel)

If the actors in Bloc Party's new video for the song Flux look familiar, it's because they are characters from everyone's favorite monster wrestling league Kaiju Big Battel.  I'm a fan of the band and the video.  What would be great is if they had an actual television channel that played music videos.  What ever happened to that channel?

Everyone's favorite monster wrestling league - Kaiju Big Battel - released their first vinyl figure - Sky Deviler.  The piece is produced in collaboration with Marmit and is limited to 100 pieces.  If you've never seen these guys in person or on DVD, it's a definite must see.  I've been waiting for them to produce vinyl figures, as it only seems fitting, and now the wait is over.  For the next few figures, I'd have to vote for: Slo Feng, Dusto Bunny, Dr. Cube, Unibouzu and Uchu Chu.

Get In The Ring With Kaiju Big Battel’s 1st Toy

Skydevilertoymed

After remaining mum for months, the Kaiju Commissioner and Kaiju Big Battel are proud to finally announce the release of Kaiju's first monster toy, an eye-catching Sky Deviler vinyl, produced in collaboration with Marmit, Japan's leading manufacturer of vinyl monster toys.

The Sky Deviler vinyl will be released at the San Diego Comic Con.  There are only 100 pieces in stock and will run $50 each.  Whatever is left over from the con will be sold online at the Kaiju web-mall.  But I'm gonna doubt any will be coming home from San Diego.
