Set 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will feature brand new characters and some familiar faces. In the film, a new group called the First Order has come to power and utilizes Stormtroopers to execute its orders. These faceless enforcers are now armed with new armor, weapons and equipment to accomplish their goal.
Hot Toys has introduced one of those new Stormtroopers with their 1/6th scale First Order Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper. The figure comes equipped with a heavy artillery vest and a destructive megablaster, a blaster pistol, and a specially designed hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem.
It's expected to begin shipping in Q4 of 2015 or Q1 of 2016. Sideshow Collectibles has the figure available to pre-order for $219.99.
