Sideshow’s Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot

Sideshow Collectibles has revealed their Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot 1/6th scale figure from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The figure is expected to ship in the 4th Quarter 2015 and can currently be pre-ordered for $199.99.

Dispatched under the direct command of Darth Vader during the Battle of Yavin IV, high-ranking and fearless Imperial TIE Fighter pilots swarmed the skies to defend the Death Star from Rebel assault. Emblazoned with stark white Imperial insignia, the pilot wears his unmistakable streamlined helmet, and glossy black armor fitted over a pristine standard-issue flight suit. Interchangeable wrist gauntlets allow dexterity for handling TIE Fighter controls, and positive gravity pressure boots keep him grounded in all situations. Although typically found in the cockpit, Sideshow’s Exclusive TIE Fighter Pilot also comes armed with a ‘retro’ inspired blaster – a nostalgic feature Star Wars collectors are sure to enjoy.
