Tomenosuke + Circus Posterus have added a new colorway to their Calliope Jackalope and Heathen Snake Skelve figures. The brightest color ever, the "Bitter Mantis" green colorway, is now available to purchase. While this version of the Sofubi figures was unveiled at Designer Con 2014, this is the first time those outside of North America can get their hands on the duo (unless they went to DCon). Each figure will be limited to only 60 pieces each.
The 7-inch tall Snake Skelve Bitter Mantis Green by Brandt Peters runs ¥11,500 (about $100). And the 7.5-inch tall Calliope Jackalope Bitter Mantis Green by Kathie Olivas also runs ¥11,500. (This is the first Calliope Jackalope with bangs!) There are also unpainted versions of each available in edition sizes of 6 pieces each.
