MonsterPants, the New York-based DIY non-studio that brought you such films as Automatons and Satan Hates You, has announced its new line of handmade limited run toys and apparel by writer/director/artist James Felix McKenney. The series of handmade plastic resin figures is designed, sculpted, cast, painted and packaged by McKenney.
The Robot Companion, a clunky, junky little droid built from scraps to save you from loneliness in a world gone mad, stands in at 3.75" tall. Packaged on a hand-screened blister card, only 66 pieces will be released at a price of $24.00 each.
Standing at approximately 6.5" tall, the MonsterPants figure is based on the MonsterPants zipper skull logo. Each figure is made up of 11 individually cast parts. The MonsterPants figure is limited to a run of 22 pieces, selling for $66.00 each. There is also an exclusive DevilPants version (black and crimson), celebrating the release of Satan Hates You on DVD.
