Bianca Pettis (Beatrix) and Jacob Aaron Roske (JAR) are also known as sound art duo Beatrix*JAR. For years, they've created And sold handmade birds at their merchandise table during shows. However, in 2010, the duo received an artist fellowship and moved to San Diego for a creative sabbatical.
Currently, they are creating (and selling) handmade plush creatures via their Etsy shop. You might notice a theme - Birds and Cats. Prices for these handmade creations range from $12.00 to $70.00 (although the $70.00 piece does include two plushies).
