Matthew Ryan Sharp’s The Benefits of Exhaustion
William Rupnik Gallery, in conjunction with Proximity, is proud to present The Benefits of Exhaustion, an exhibition by Matthew Ryan Sharp. The show runs from October 15th to 31st, 2010, with an opening reception taking place from 7PM to 10PM on Friday, October 15th 2010 (Cleveland, OH).
Debuting at the opening is Matthew's limited edition, self-published book, The Benefits of Exhaustion. The 120-page softcover book chronicles the artist's past six years of restlessness, anxiety and dedication in way of paint and brush, pencil and page. Custom hand-sewn and hand-painted plushies, iPod and iPhone hard cases starring Matthew's ghoulish creatures will also be featured at the opening.
In tandem with the gallery exhibition, additional works of art by Matthew will be on view at Lava Lounge. Please join the artist, curator, and crew immediately following the gallery reception on October 15th. A swank atmosphere with premier DJs and a sumptuous food and drink menu welcome gallery show goers.
A portion of all sales will be donated to The Rainbow Connection Animal Foundation, a non-profit, no-kill, 100% volunteer animal rescue organization based in Cleveland.
