la3010

WWA gallery is proud to present L.A. 3010 - a group exhibition curated by Industrial Squid - which will feature new works by 16 emerging artists from the Los Angeles area and around the world.

What will become of L.A. in the next thousand years? Will it become a bustling utopia or a depraved abyss? Will technological advancements be able to help fix the problems with traffic, pollution and overpopulation or will the earthquake come and finally shuffle it off into the sea?

These were the questions posed to the artists participating in L.A. 3010 just before they allowed their imaginations to run wild with the possibilities. Open to the public, L.A. 3010 will give us our first glimpse into the many possible futures of the City of Angels during its reception on Friday March 26th 2010 from 7PM until 10PM. The exhibition will run until May 1st, 2010.
