Giant Robot is proud to present mixtART, a group art show held in conjunction with Hands-On Mobile, Inc's release of mixtART, an application that allows independent artists to sell their original works of art as
wallpapers to mobile subscribers.
Contributors to the show
include top artists from a variety of genres including
illustration, character design, street art, tattoo art, urban vinyl,
and indie comics. Participants include the following: Astro, Blinky, Buff Monster, Jon Burgerman, Aden Catalani, Dave Correia, Ekundayo, Martin Hsu, Noferin, Patrick Ma, Brent McHugh, Patricio Oliver, Alex Pardee, Josh Powell, and Clee Sobieski.
Most of the artists will be in attendance during the opening reception, which takes place at GRSF on September 20th from 6:30PM until 10PM. There will be drawings for signed prints by participating
artists on the opening and closing nights (October 8th) of the show. Art gallery
guests will be able to enter the closing-night raffle throughout the
show's span as well as online.
