The Hive Gallery & Studios, known for bringing innovative new artists into the thriving Gallery Row scene, explores the world of dolls in its December show - DOLLS DOLLS DOLLS. Curators Nathan Cartwright and Carol Powell, with over 100 up & coming artists from LA and around the country will take a fresh and uninhibited look at doll conception and construction. Unrestrained by convention, these artists have created an army of character based works ranging from the adorable to the disturbing to inhabit The Hive for the Holiday season.

Curator Nathan Cartwright says,"I've been looking toward doing a show like this since we opened our doors nearly two years ago. I wanted to encourage our roster of talent to step outside of their own comfort zone and experiment with new media. The show is turning out to be so much more than I imagined."

Featured artist Myna Sonou and featured installation artist Jesse Spears will anchor the show with their own unique visions and styles. Both artists have garnered critical success in the crowded landscape of new art visionaries taking the West Coast by storm.

Opening: December 2nd from 8PM to 12:30AM
