With the hatching of an egg and the words “Domo, Konnichiwa” emanating from a nearby television, a star was born.  Domo – known in his native Japan as Domo-kun – appeared in 1998 as the spokesmonster for NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai), Japan’s public television station, starring in several 30-second stop-motion animated shorts.  In the following years, he became first a Japanese and then an international icon, and now he’s made his way to the United States for the first time in the form of a series on Nicktoons, a multitude of Domo merchandise, and the first-ever Domo series of mimobot Designer USB Flash Drives!

The Domo Series 1 line will include 3 different Domo versions.  The regular Domo will be limited to a run of 3,000 pieces.  The Rasta Domo (pictured above) will be slightly more limited with a run of 2,500 mimobots.  And the Ninja Domo (pictured below) comes fitted with an interesting new helmet and is limited to 2,000 pieces.
