If you were alive in the 1990's then you likely remember those Lipton Brisk commercials featuring a stop motion Rocky Balboa and the actual voice of Sylvester Stallone shilling some weird iced tea lemonade concoction. Well, NECA has announced that they're transforming those stylized puppets (working from the actual puppets used to make the commercial) into Rocky and Mickey maquettes. Rocky stands approximately 12 inches tall and has fabric boxing shorts, while Mickey stands about 10 inches tall and features fabric hat and clothing. Both statues are in accurate scale to each other and have movable eyes that can be positioned in various directions. Each statue comes with a display base.
They'll be available beginning in July 2017. The individual Rocky maquette will be limited to 3,000 pieces. Or the Rocky & Mickey set (I'd obviously get that one) will be limited to 1,500 pieces.
