So this is just so confusing on so many different levels. The figure is named Lover Boy by the artist Okedoki. He's basically a black Squidward (from SpongeBob SquarePants) wearing what appears to be Pee-wee Herman's attire, except a red bow-tie is swapped out for a red heart on his lapel.
Since my brain is an 80's and 90's pop culture nerd vacuum, I thought...maybe this is supposed to be Billy Ocean. He had a 1984 song (which I'm going to make you watch at the bottom of this post) called Loverboy. Really, if you haven't seen the video, or it's been a while, you should (re)watch it. It's like someone gave the music video director a bunch of money and hallucinogens, and he locked himself in a room for 2 days watching nothing but the Mos Eisley Cantina scene and The Dark Crystal. Then remembered he had to incorporate Billy Ocean into this madness somehow.
Oh yeah...back to the figure, the Lover Boy (Original Version) is a limited edition of 8 pieces and will be released through Collect and Display at ToyConUK (April 29th-30th) for $720.00.
