Erick Scarecrow (ESC-Toy) is currently working on a new Kickstarter project that will be raising funds to produce a series of plush toys from the Japanese game Hatoful Boyfriend. So...what is Hatoful Boyfriend? It's a "Japanese pigeon dating sim game series, originally created by Hato Moa as an April fool's joke in 2011. The story stands out from other games in the genre by combing a unique setting, twisted sense of humor, and extremely satirical elements. Because of this Hatoful Boyfriend built a dedicated fan base and quickly grew from a practical joke into a franchise that has now been brought to Windows, OSX, Linux, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita. Hatoful Boyfriend is a text-based visual novel where almost all characters except the player are birds."
Funding levels include a trio of 5-inch Hatoful Boyfriend plush toys (RYOUTA, OKOSAN, SHUU) at the $25.00 plus shipping level. There will also be a pair of exclusive plush (100 pieces each) available at the $75.00 level. And, finally, the complete set, which also includes a print of your favorite character and a 12-inch SHUU, available at the $1,000.00 level and limited to only 10 pieces.
