Triclops Studio will be teaming up with Kidrobot to release a new Dunny that's been inspired by thought-provoking Belgian artist René Magritte. Triclops plays with reality and illusion by interpreting Magritte’s own self portrait. The Rene London Dunny features a transparent blue vinyl head bears a wandering set of clouds on the back and painted green apple obscuring the face. On the back of the Londoner’s dark suit it is written that, “Ceci n’est pas une Dunny”.
The piece includes a black bowler, umbrella, and a pipe. The Rene London 8-inch Dunny will be released on Thursday August 18th 2011 for $75.00 and is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.
