"The Same Gang: compartmentalizing pop-culture iconography" featuring all new works by Nathan Stapley opens on Friday August 26th 2011, with a reception running from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at Gallery1988 Venice.
The show features all new works, where Nathan brings your favorite pop-culture icons together by similar attributes. For example, in the "Dads" painting, Jack Torrance from The Shining, Darth Vader, and Homer Simpson are just a few of our all-time favorite pop-culture fathers hanging out at a backyard BBQ.
