Background
To celebrate the holiday season, Kidrobot joined up with popular Mexican artist Saner to release a new Xmas-themed Dunny. The Burglars Dunny is a blind box figure available in two different characters. Will you get the main man Santa Barbaja or his rarer side-kick, Burglarcillo? Well, as you see...we pulled the Santa Barbaja Dunny.

Our Opinion
The Santa Barbaja uses the normal 3” Dunny form and includes three accessories: a fabric Santa hat; a flocked beard; a staff. The hat is supposed to be placed over the Dunny's right ear (his ear's turned into a scary little worm guy), and either hand can hold the staff. Personally, I would choose to display the figure with the beard on, but you have the option of going with the skull face.
Quality-wise, Kidrobot seems to pay extra attention to their 3” Dunny line. The pad printing on this figure is excellent. There are no problems with the joints or any of the accessories. It's just a well-made vinyl.
Even though we didn't get the rare Burglarcillo variant, I'll give a quick rundown of that figure. It lacks the beard and staff that Santa Barbaja has, but it includes the same red and black Santa hat. Burglarcillo also comes with a little gingerbread man.
With all of that said, I still like the Santa Barbaja Dunny better. Normally, collectors want the more limited, rarer variant...but I'd suggest you hope for the bearded guy.
OVERALL: Hmm...$14.95 is a little high for a blind box figure. But since you really only have a chance of getting two figures, it's not your typical blind box series. The 3” Dunny designs that I prefer have a great design and include fun accessories. Luckily, the Santa Barbaja Dunny has both of those covered. You just have to wait 11 more months to display him on your mantle.
