Background
Paigey, otherwise known as Paige Pumphrey, submitted her Miss Mary Jane design to Patch Together with the hopes that she'd receive enough votes to get her character produced. Fans and collectors made that happen and Miss Mary Jane was realized in resin form.
Here's what Paige has to say about her design:
Miss Mary Jane was my muse and mistress for many years. Helping me to relax as only she can, she'd take the edge off the day and usher me into my creative zone for the night. Now I'm hoping she can do the same for you

Packaging
The Miss Mary Jane figure is packaged in what's become the staple Patch Together packaging – a white box with a pair of Styrofoam pieces inside. Like with some pieces, this one has a large sticker featuring the box art. That's an illustrated version of Miss Mary Jane and just in case you thought she was broccoli...
Our Opinion
I'm guessing that this might be a polarizing piece. Either you think the marijuana reference is funny...or you probably just think it's juvenile (e.g. - poo and middle finger toys). Personally, I like the design, but wouldn't display this in my collection. It might just raise too many questions.
The resin figure comes packaged in two pieces – Miss Mary Jane and part of her plastic baggy hood. Yes...that's a plastic bag she's wearing. Just check out the blue and pink lines (for proper sealing of your stash). But this means that you need to use the included super glue to glue the hood into a slot of the figure's back.
Gluing is always a dreaded task when it comes to Patch Together toys. I usually end up gluing my fingers to the resin; removing paint from it; and end up just getting aggravated. So...check out where one of my gluey fingers removed paint from Miss Mary Jane's arm.
I really the sculpting work on this. Just check out her...umm...bud hair. Miss Mary Jane is also seated in a somewhat complex pose. Amazing work, and probably the best we've seen from Patch Together. The paintwork is also above average. While I don't really like the color shade chosen for the body, the dark green hair with what appears to be a brown wash looks great. And they went with semi-transparent resin for the baggy/hood.
Overall: While the Miss Mary Jane resin figure might look great next to your “water pipe” collection, it's really not for everyone. And at $59.95, it's a little expensive for a novelty purchase. That said...the quality is the best we've seen from Patch Together (just read the gluing instructions better than I did).
