Mr. Frostie Beats, designed by NYC-based Interspectacular, is set to drop on January 8th from Kidrobot. The 7" tall B-boy includes a boom box and microphone. The limited edition figure will retail for $50 and consists of a run of 500 pieces. This guy is one of my favorite recent Kidrobot releases...I like new, original designs.
FYI – this design is neither new or original. I remember seeing it in an old Strangeco article. It was originally a Shepard Fairey design that they contracted him to do for some tv commercial or something. It does look like they redrew it and dropped Shep's name off box. Not half as cool as the original, IMHO.
