Great Twins is currently running a Kickstarter project to produce their Merlion Collectible Figure Series 1. "Being a tourism icon, Merlion is one of the most popular and recognisable mascots in Singapore and internationally. The half-lion and half-mermaid figure will be produced in 2-inch and 8-inch tall versions and as a blind box series. There will be 25 designs from 24 designers from 17 countries. The designers include: Adrian Nugroho; Dadik Triadi; Eunice Low; Henry Lichtmann; Jaein Park; Jason Kochis; JEC; Jumping Lomo; Kharman; Louis Charles Round; Luo Wen; Mad Barbarians; Michiel Baumgarten; Mr. Walters; Nathan Jurevicius; Paul Leung; Reactor-88; Sam Fout; Shin Tanaka; Tiffany Yao; Tom Hanni; Ultraman; Vectorizta; Warhead.
The lowest funding level where you can pick up any Merlion figure is at the $207.00 funding level, which will get you a full sets. There's no option for singles boxes. This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Monday, July 15th 2019 at 6:12AM ET.
As I say with all Kickstarter projects I post about. Remember...this is not a pre-order. There are many instances of crowd funded projects that have been funded never making good on their promised goods. So back all Kickstarters with caution.
