After being angry at me for calling out some shadiness with their DIY Miss Cupcake XL vinyl Kickstarter, the folks from Discordia Culture Shop have canceled that project and restarted a new one at a much-reduced monetary goal. The old project looked to raise $3,023 in funding, while the new version has set a $999 goal.

Based on the listing, this "is your chance to get advance copies of this Platform Toy before anyone else!" Also, it state that "We are not asking you to chip in on our Development, Design, Model, Prototype, or Molding expenses." So why Kickstarter? Isn't that the whole idea of Kickstarter?! Couldn't you just sell pre-orders via your website?
