Marcel Pasternak is a product designer who looks to nature for inspiration. bionicTOYS was first created two years ago as part of his Product Design master’s thesis. Studying the principles of motion, he recognized the pure beauty of flexibility used by plants and animals to move and transform. As an avid LEGO fan, Marcel constructed case study models that could mimic organic motions. Working with LEGO Technic—which became like the bones of these structures—he experimented with his own design until he could find a structure that resembled the flexible muscles and tendons: bionicTOYS flex-bricks.

bionicTOYS turns building bricks into flexible play. They've currently taken to Kickstarter in order to raise funds in order to put them into production by March 2017.

This project will only be funded if at least €30,000 is pledged by Friday, December 23rd 2016 at 1:03AM EST.

Remember...this is not a pre-order. There are many instances of crowd funded projects that have been funded never making good on their promised goods. So back with caution.
