Some folks over at LEGO Ideas want to thank you for being a friend. Users are allowed to submit their LEGO set ideas and have the community vote on them. Reaching 10,000 supporters gets your project recognized by the folks at LEGO. (This has happened with the Back to the Future DeLorean and the Ghostbusters' Ecto-1). So LEGO is ready to help you travel down the road and back again.
So will this be the next big deal LEGO set that all of you folks longing for the days of good old 80's television will be able to purchase? It's a recreation of the Golden Girls House - the Foyer, Living Room, and Kitchen built like a TV set. It would include 5 minifigures - Dorothy, Rose, Sophia, Blanche, and Stanley. (Where's Dr. Harry Weston?) So what's the likelihood that this set gets produced? It seems like LEGO likes the 80's.
