Background
The first half of 2011 was fairly predictable when it came to new Uglydolls. Of course, that's because we knew exactly which characters were going to be released. The second half of the year is giving us some new surprises. One of those surprises is the recently released character named Groody.
Groody is a pretty relaxed, easy going, energetic, stressed out, moody broody mess! AAAAHHHH! Did I just close that door? It was a ghost! Did I close the garage door? Did I send that e-mail to the wrong person!!!??? You get the picture…which is exactly why Groody has chosen you to be his pal. If you are willing to help him on his quest for inner peace he will help you on your quest for whatever dealio you got going. His first though.

Our Opinion
It wasn't until I was beginning to write this review that I realized this Uglydolls' name is Groody and not Grody. I thought Grody was an interesting title...you know, 80's slang for dirty or gross. But Groody is a much better name. I mean he's already been blessed with being called Ugly.
This bright green Uglydoll features a small pink tongue in the center of its' mouth. There's a black, oval-shaped nose in between those fairly standard white Uglydoll eyes. The ears flop down, starting around the middle of Groody's head, and the arms are pointing upwards.
As far as character designs, I'm slightly partial to Uglydolls with noses. It's a weird thing I have going on. We've seen a lot of these traits in other Uglydolls, so it's not a wildly different design. It's definitely high on the cute end of the Ugly spectrum. And I'm going to guess that this shade of green is going to be a favorite amongst many collectors.
