Background
As 2010 quickly winds down, the Uglydoll folks aren't taking a break. Those character designs from Sun-Min and David are still being released in plush goodness. And one of the newest Uglydolls to hit retailers is named Cozy Monster.
Why does everybody think it’s OK to bother poor old Cozy Monster with their troubles and crazy questions about the meaning of life? That’s what Cozy Monster would like to know. Is there an “I was born to answer all your questions” sign on his forehead? Does he even have a forehead? Cozy Monster would love to have some answers himself! Who invented quizzes?! Who came up with taxes?! Why is it that the better the taste, the worse for you it is?! And vice versa. Perhaps you have the answer? If not, you and Cozy will get along just fine.

Tag
Cozy Monster uses the normal green Uglydoll tag. It features the above background bio with an illustrated version of the Cozy Monster character. I must say...the actual plush is a much brighter orange than the illustrated one.
Our Opinion
If I'd have to choose my favorite color, it would most likely end up being orange. Now, there are many different shades of orange, but who doesn't like bright orange? Nice and bright...like a brand new traffic cone. And that's what Cozy Monster looks like.
It's a little strange, because this is the first Uglydoll I've seen where the color on the tag is off from the color of the plush. The tag gives Cozy Monster an orange-yellow tint. With that said, I like the plush color better than the tag color.
The Cozy Monster character features the normal Uglydoll eyes and mouth, with a pair of downward-pointing, yellow, curved teeth. He also has a circular nose that looks maroon-brown (I think I'm losing my eyesight – thanks computers). Cozy Monster has a pair of upward facing ears and arms/hands poised for an embrace.
OVERALL: Cozy Monster is one of my favorite 2010 Uglydolls. It combines a nice combination of colors, one of the better bodies/stances, and has animal qualities (thanks to the nose and ears). Oh...and he's so soft.

i think i will buy him
Cozymonster is my fave… I love orange and his ears are placed just far enough apart that I can tuck him under my chin and rest my chin on the top of his head. I also love his non-expression and severely dilated pupils. Love.
