The line for STRANGEco's SDCC colorway Vivisect Playset set was one of the longer (and more surprising) at the show.  But we were diggin' Greg "Craola" Simkins' Cap'n Rotnclaw.  I might have to wait until the red (more crab-like) colorway is released.

And I'd love to see the above Mars-1 piece released in that size.  Wouldn't you?  Also on display at the booth were a number of SDCC exclusives from Max Toy Co., King Ken Series 1 (mini figures), a number of new tokidoki pieces and John K's Tenacious D figures.

I'm usually not overcritical of figures, but I don't like how the Tenacious D turned out.  They were designed to look like the vinyl figures that were released in the 1960's.  So they actually wanted a sloppy-looking paint job.  I love John K's work and know that he'll be releasing more impressive figures with STRANGEco.  I'm guessing that if the same number of people who saw Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny buy these figures, a run of 500 or so figures might sell out.
