SDCC 2007: Upper Deck (Booth #2829)

Even though Upper Deck is most well known for their trading card division, their vinyl toys have taken off. The All-Star Vinyl figures that were on display included Tom Brady in a retro Patriots jersey as well as LeBron James in his retro, bright orange Cavaliers jersey. Personally, I would like the powder blue and brown Cavs jersey. The upcoming Martin Brodeur and LaDainian Tomlinson vinyl figures were also being shown off.
Also, the new Subcasts line (now with a live website) was on display. The polyresin action figure line is being designed by miQ Willmott and the TWEEQIM Creative Lab. The Spider-Man figure is the first of the Marvel line to be released. There were also prototypes of Iron Man, Ghost Rider and Wolverine at the booth. And they will be releasing Thor, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk as well.
