Ashley Wood and technical guru Mr.12Fingers have launched Plastic Kartel, a social networking website for Toy Collectors of all generations and genres. It combines the many elements of social media and offers a single hub for utilizing these different tools to connect with fellow collectors.
Albeit the new site is still in beta testing, it is now open to the public and members can begin interacting with one another via its many platforms. Users can partake in open discussions with other collectors, share images from their collections, and learn about other toys from fellow members. Independent Artists can network with other artists, gain valuable feedback from fans, utilize the website’s member blog function, and open a store to sell their products.
