MonQee MagiQ at Forbidden Planet

As part of the Match It For Pratchett appeal, Forbidden Planet has created a unique piece of Urban Vinyl art – raising money for and awareness of the Alzheimer’s Research Trust.

Terry Pratchett, a longtime friend and supporter of Forbidden Planet, chose a charity...and they decided on having one 12” DIY White Vinyl MonQee signed by some of the top artists and authors in the science fiction and fantasy genres.

Currently on display in the Vinyl Cabinet in their London Megastore, the MonQee will be auctioned for the Alzheimer’s Research Trust as part of Forbidden Planet’s 30th anniversary celebration.

REVIEW: Commander Praji 1/6 Scale

Sideshow Collectibles continues their extremely collectible 12” tall Star Wars line (specifically Militaries of Star Wars) with the release of Commander Praji.

Directed by Lord Vader to personally oversee the mission to retrieve the stolen plans for the Death Star, (Commander) Praji instead delegated the task to Captain Kosh.  But C-3P0 and R2-D2 escaped with the plans on Tatooine, and the integral mission failed.  Commander Praji was not defeated by the unsuccessful mission, however.  He stood dignified before his superiors and delivered the news of his failure to Darth Vader.  This businesslike professionalism appealed to Darth Vader and saved Praji from the most severe of punishments.

Sideshow’s Star Wars line has been one of our favorites when it comes to the quality of their packaging.  The front and back of the box have photos of the figure as well as shots from the original Star Wars film.  The inside of front panel (which is held in place with a magnet) contains detailed information about Commander Praji (not sure where they dug it up from) and the figure is packaged in a plastic tray.
