The Dark Horse booth had a colorful display of 8" tall flocked Domo vinyl figures. Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, Brown White, etc. All of them showing those pearly whites. In addition to these vinyl pieces, Dark Horse had a number of MINDstyle products (who they distribute) on display.

Android 8 was displaying an interesting line of art toys called the Midigang (from Glen Lieberman). While there aren't many details out there now, we'll get them to you as information is released.
Also being shown off was the Fairy Labor Union piece from designer Matthew Waldman and the My Beating Heart plush from Yury Gitman.
~ my little friends opened on April 10th to a steady crowd of eager
Blythe fans, Japanese art aficionados, and the simply curious, all of
whom were encouraged to climb into a bed at the center of the exhibit
and experience the sensation of being approached by a multitude of
exhibit, including each of the one-of-a-kind, customized Blythe dolls
in the installation, is now available for purchase online via
While there was a lot of action around the Upper Deck booth, mainly from all of the people playing Magic: The Gathering, we got our first peek at the upcoming MVP line. The New York Giants figure was designed by Joe Grady, aka Rebelwookiee. I like the design...I don't like the Giants.
The Hazchem mini plush
are 2" tall with a magnet or phone strap, available in two different
designs: Hazmate and Cloud-X. Both characters
are patterned after the Hazchem creatures which Bytedust first created as a street art
The most impressive piece at the Mezco Toyz booth had to be their NYCC Exclusive Notorious B.I.G. vinyl figure. (We'll actually be doing a review of it later in the week) In addition to Biggie, Mezco had a number of new Hellboy II products, including an 18" tall rotocast Hellboy.
Onell Design set up shop at the Rocket North booth in the small press area of NY Comic Con. It was sort of a last minute thing, so if you didn't make it to their booth...you missed out. They launched two new Glyos figures - Pulse Version Pheyden (clear red and purple) and Empire Version Exellis (black and white).
In addition to the already released figures and colorways, there were some other designs on display including Buildman Ranic, Gobon and several others. We can't wait to see them released!
While, obviously, the most impressive piece at the Bigshot Toyworks booth was Ashley Wood's ginormous robot named Bertie...it's what was pictured below that really caught my eye.
This trio of Visionaire figures are done by the amazing comic book artist R. Crumb. It's not often that you see the well-known artist lending his art to toys. Sorta like never.
Sam Fout and Moon Toad Productions also shared the booth. While they only had the artwork on display, I'm looking forward to seeing the Johnny Ramone Army line as well as Sam's Yeti plush.
