Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica has released the newest figure from their Ganmetall Celsius Tribute Series 4. This tribute to Tekken’s Jin Kazama is an edition of 5 pieces. It’s currently available through their online shop, priced at $280 each (including shipping).
Skïrtl Custom
Luis Molina Soria (aka GAWEIN) has produced some fairly wicked custom figures. The latest design is named Skïrtl. It’s a customized Mini Munny – and a pretty good one at that.
Gurren Lagann
Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica has released their newest custom from the Rotobox Suparobo Project Series 6. The 16" tall Gurren Lagann uses a 16" Qee as the base figure. This custom is a one-off piece and currently available. Check out RVA’s website for details of how to purchase.
Applying a Color Wash

Nakanari of Mai Hiro will be releasing small batches of customs every month. These customs will all use the Ninja Spiki figure and will be available through the Mai Hiro online shop on the final Friday of every month.
Cotton Candy Dragamel
D-Lux has sent along photos of his custom Cotton Candy Dragamel for the It Came From Skullbrain show. Pink, sky blue, florescent pink, gold, and black sprays make up the majority of the figure. Then, the whole figure has been lightly dusted with clear pearl and silver.
Dead Presidents’ Armodoc Customs
Matt Walker of Dead Presidents is set to release a small run of custom Armodoc (from Onell Design) vinyl figures. These are going up tonight at midnight for $65 each. For one these? That’s a steal. You can pick one up through the Dead Presidents Online Shop.

Luchador Custom Dog Qee
chauskoskis qee 1 Check out these amazing sculpt progress photos from artist Walter Jacott aka Chauskosis. He’s customized a Dog Qee to resemble a Luchador. So far, the sculpting work looks amazing. I can’t wait to check out the finished, painted-up product. I think the stitching work is what impresses me the most.
Char’s Zaku II Custom
Rotobox Vinyl Anatomica has released the 2nd figure from their Ganpla Series 1. Pictured next to the Gundam RX78-2 custom, they’ve dropped the Char’s Zaku II (the wild pink custom). This amazing custom version is limited to an edition of only 2 pieces. However, by the time you read this, they’ll probably already be gone.
Dry Brushing Techniques
Delicious Drips posted up this great video tutorial featuring custom artist Lily Black showing off his dry brush techniques on a pair of DIY Skully figures. It’s really helpful if you’re getting into customizing toys, have been for a while, or are just interested in how it’s done.

Custom Misfortune Cat
Check out the custom work that one of our favorites – Jon Paul Kaiser – has concocted. He’s taken the Ferg x Playge produced Misfortune Cat and killed it. I’m looking forward to seeing a JPK production figure. I know I’d definitely pick on up.
