Bob Conge (Plaseebo) completed this custom of the PLANET-X “Death Galiathon” figure created for a collector in Hong Kong.

The "Electro Death Galiathon" has see-thru Monster Kolor sprays over the glow in the dark vinyl and red inset eyes. He also has 4 motion activated color-changing LED units with replaceable batteries.

Plaseebo’s “Electro Ollie” Commission

Bob Conge is showing off one of his most recent Plaseebo customs - the MVH clear vinyl "Electro Ollie”. You like it? Well, too bad for you. It was commissioned by a US collector and not available to purchase. But you can ogle at the photos.See how he's filled with a variety of space guts? Oh, and did I say it has 3 motion activated color changing LED units inside? does. And you don't have it.

Bob Conge takes part in the Sacred Curiosities show

Artist Bob Conge (Plaseebo) will have a pair of new assemblage works in the "Sacred Curiosities" show opening Saturday October 21st 2017 from 4PM to 7PM at Main Street Arts Gallery in Clifton Springs N Y. This wide-ranging invitational exhibition includes the work of thirteen artists. Through sculpture, painting, and drawing, this exhibition is a meditation on the meaning we assign to things.

The show runs through November 17th 2017. Bob's pieces are the Shrine to Self and Family Shrine (eww...creepy umbilical cord), each one a mixed media and found objects in a hand crafted wood case.

Plaseebo’s Black & Blue Gnaw Dog

Bob Conge has announced his latest creation. From Plaseebo, comes the Black & Blue Gnaw Dog - badly bruised but never beaten. This one-of-a-kind custom vinyl mash-up features a black and blue paint job. Standing in at 8 inches tall with blue glass eye inserts and 2 internal motion activated color-changing LED units with replaceable batteries, the piece comes signed by the artist.

The Black & Blue Gnaw Dog will be available on Friday, August 18th 2017 from the Plaseebo web shop for $350.00.

Plaseebo at KaijuMashup 2017

Plaseebo is pleased to be part of the "KaijuMashup 2017” exhibition being held this weekend (July 22nd and 23rd) at the Design Fiesta Gallery in Japan. Bob Conge - the show's a group show - has provided us with a pair of custom pieces that will be in the show. There's the Cyborg-X and the Gnawmeleon, which you can check out below.

Plaseebo’s Red Eye Cyclops-X / Prototype-2

Plaseebo will be releasing the Red Eye Cyclops-X / Prototype-2 via the Plaseebo webshop on Wednesday July 12th 2017. This one of a kind prototype hand cast resin Cyclops head on the Skull Head Butt “X” vinyl body sports a red taxidermy eye and an internal motion activated color changing LED unit with replaceable batteries. A big boy, he stands just short of 9 inches high. Hand painted with multiple sprays of Monster Kolor and signed by artist Bob Conge. It will be available to purchase for $350.00 plus shipping.

Plaseebo at Five Points Festival

Bob Conge (Plaseebo) will be represented at the Five Points Festival by the Guumon Booth # 328. The show will take place in New York City on May 20th and 21st 2017. Bob will be sending along the Skinned Cyclops - X, the Bed Troll-X, and the Gnaw Dog. Look for them all to be available to purchase at the show.


No, it’s not a Bullfrog Cowboy!

"No, it's not a Bullfrog Cowboy!” (we call him Frank) is a one of a kind custom mash-up of a Plaseebo hand cast resin head on a Plaseebo vinyl Night Gamer body with a leather neck rag. He also has inset eyes and a motion activated color-changing LED unit in his belly. The piece stands in at 6 inches tall and is painted with Monster Kolor. The custom comes signed by artist Bob Conge

Plaseebo’s Its Not Funny Pieces

For those not able to visit the "Its Not Funny” show at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center in Rochester NY, Bob Conge (Plaseebo) has sent along some photos of his pieces from the show. The event is on display through May 13th 2017, so you'll still have a shot at checking on Bob's (and all of the other artists) works live in-person.


Plaseebo Customs at It’s Not Funny


It’s Not Funny - taking place at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center - brings together artists, designers, and collectives who use toys and humor to engage with serious subject matter. The diverse projects featured in this exhibition combine playful objects with unexpected and deeper cultural critique. It’s Not Funny includes new and recent work by Airigami (Rochester, NY) Bob Conge AKA Plaseebo (Rochester, NY), Chris Cosnowski (Chicago, IL), Dan Gunderson (DeLand, FL), Dina Goldstein (Tel Aviv, Israel / Vancouver, BC), Jason Schulmerich (Rochester, NY), and Tyler Bohm (Columbus, Ohio). 

Bob Conge (Plaseebo) will have 50 pieces in the show. It's Not Funny runs from April 7th to May 13th 2017, with an opening reception on April 7th from 6PM to 9PM and an Artists' Talk on April 8th at 1PM.
