Kickstarter: Run-A-Mucks Mini Figures

The Run-A-Mucks is a series of mini figures in the tradition of classics like M.U.S.C.L.E. or Monster in My Pocket. This series of 6 unique characters has been put together by Last Resort Toys and is currently a Kickstarter project. Each character is designed by a different artist and sculpted by Bryan Fulk.  The characters include: Grinade (Al Sharpe); Antaeus (Sam De Jesus); Commander Sporloff (Trysta Lilford); Coughin' Coffin (Nik Sardos, a.k.a. T16skyhopp); Stinkweed (Gabriel Barragan and Christopher Howard Wolf); Blowman (Bryan Fulk).

Currently, the classic 'flesh' colorway and a Kickstarter exclusive green colorway are available via Kickstarter pledge ($20.00 level). And at the $100 level, you can pick up six different colorways.

This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Wednesday May 8th 2019 at 3:43PM ET.

As I say with all Kickstarter projects I post about. Remember...this is not a pre-order. There are many instances of crowd funded projects that have been funded never making good on their promised goods. So back all Kickstarters with caution.

Kickstarter: Pix Brix – Pixel Art Building Brick

Pix Brix is a pixel art building brick that allows the artist to create 2D pixel art and 3D builds with only 1 unique piece design. They require no base plate, water, iron, or glue to adhere together. Pix Brix are fun, safe, re-usable, plus major brick brand compatible. Create your favorite characters and pixel art by visiting their Pinterest page with over 1,000 templates and instructions created by pixel artists just like you. With a number of Pix Brix colors already available, they have launched a Kickstarter project to add some new items to the already popular line.

There's the new PB Tool, which has 3 functions for adding and removing Pix Brix: the tip can be used to pick up and insert bricks; the tip can also push bricks out in specific spots of 2D builds; a removable wedge piece can be used to separate layers of builds by pushing it into small openings or corners.

Also, they're expanding the current Pix Brix color palette from 15 to 32 colors. They will be divided into 3 series: Light, Medium, and Dark.

And there's a Pix Brix app, which is now in development. The Pix Brix app will have a paint function with all 32 colors which can be used to create custom pixel art that can be saved and shared.

Currently, there are backing levels up to $175. And all pledges above $10 will get you some type of Pix Brix set. This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Wednesday May 8th 2019 at 12:58PM ET.

As I say with all Kickstarter projects I post about. Remember...this is not a pre-order. There are many instances of crowd funded projects that have been funded never making good on their promised goods. So back all Kickstarters with caution.

With all of that said...I have received some of these and will be posting a review in the near future. They're pretty cool.

They’re brave-ish.
They feel stronger and they know somewhere, deep inside, is the strength they need to be brave.
They’re ready to yell at the world and to face their fears and anxieties head on....
But they also feel scared and vulnerable. But that’s ok. It’s ok to be scared and strong all in one go. Sometimes, standing up for yourself and being strong means you have to be a bit scared too.
They’re brave-ish.
