Thor: Ragnarok – 1/6th scale Gladiator Hulk

Stomping into theatre this Fall, the Incredible Hulk will be dueling against his former ally the Mighty Thor in the eagerly awaited blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok. And from that film license, Hot Toys has announced the all-new 1/6th scale Gladiator Hulk collectible figure. Crafted based on Hulk’s appearance in the upcoming film, the Gladiator Hulk figure comes with interchangeable head sculpts with separate rolling eyeballs, capturing his screaming and angry facial expression with impressive likeness. The figure also features a specially painted muscular body showing detailed skin texture and tendons, a detachable gladiator helmet with real fur, a detachable hair piece, the highly detailed gladiator armor, war hammer and battle axe.

The Gladiator Hulk figure is currently available to pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles for $355.00. It's expected to begin shipping to those who pre-order it around Q2 of 2018.

The 1/6th scale Gladiator Hulk Collectible Figure features the following:

Kickstarter: EGGY – Fun and Interactive Vinyl Collectibles

Remember Weebles from when you were a kid? (Some still lurk around my house) Well, Eggy is the updated concept of the "wobble but they won't fall down" from the folks at Minnimi (out of Singapore). But in addition to just wobbling, it features switch-out weights that allow you different rates of wobble (slow and frenzy) . There's also a magnet and an optional display stand that allows you defy gravity.

They're currently raising funds via a Kickstarter campaign. There are three different Eggy editions available - Classic Edition, Special Edition, and Camo Master. Within those editions, there are multiple characters/sculpts. And there are a James the Duck design that's only available as a Kickstarter Add-On.

As far as pledges, anywhere between $14.00 (DIY) and $26.00 (Camo Edition) will get you an Eggy. There are various set package options available. And if you're looking for that Defy Gravity Complete Package (Eggy, Eggy's magnetic weight, variable speed weights, plus magnetic platform), it's available starting at the $142.00 level.

Hot Toys is proud to present to fans their latest 1/6th scale Batman (Tactical Batsuit Version) collectible figure prior to the release of the Justice League film. Crafted based on the image of Ben Affleck as Batman/ Bruce Wayne in Justice League, the figure showcases the never-before-seen Tactical Batsuit with visible upgrades. CCC’s Sayang – WoodlingUtan

Charles Creature Cabinet is currently taking pre-orders for his Sayang - WoodlingUtan Tiny/Micro BJD. The nearly 3-inch tall figure is limited to a run of 35 pieces. The full set includes a CCC "Special pillow pouch" (cartoon fabric), random color Glass Eyes, Faceup, and Card of Authenticity. There's currently a non-refundable deposit, with the final price being €269 (about $314).


Pop! Movies: It

Based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name, the upcoming horror film IT will hit theaters in September of 2017. And Funko is taking no time freaking out an entirely new generation of clown aficionados with their Pop! Movies: It series. Pennywise the Dancing Clown will be available in Pop! vinyl form holding a boat (we all float down here) and there will be a sepia chase version of Pennywise, a 1-in-6 rarity. In addition, look for a Walmart exclusive featuring Pennywise with a nice, flowing wig. Also, the Pennywise with Balloon is available exclusively at Hot Topic.

Action Lab Comics x Phyn & Aero – Doll Face

The folks from Action Lab Comics teamed up with Robert Tonner of Phyn & Aero to debut the Doll Face ball-jointed resin doll at San Diego Comic Con. Doll Face (aka Lila) is an all resin ball-jointed doll capturing the Witch Hunter as pictured in the comic. Standing in at 18 inches tall, the doll has 16 points of articulation. As with many BJDs, Doll Face has eyes that can be easily changed out for unique looks (though, the yellow with hearts are pretty amazing). She also sports a wig made of fine acrylic fiber that can be combed and styled. And Doll Face includes her iconic black and white satin baby-doll dress, white knee-high stockings, and Mary-Jane shoes.

The Baby Doll is currently available to pre-order from Phyn & Aero (linked above) for $550.00. It's a limited edition of 100 pieces and expected to begin shipping in November 2017.

Justice League Cosbaby Series

Hot Toys unveiled their Justice League Cosbaby Series at San Diego Comic Con last week. The Justice League Cosbaby figures stand between 4 and 5 inches tall. The series includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, and Mera. These Cosbabies are equipped with rotatable heads and they are either armed with their unique weapons or abilities (Superman comes with magnetic laser-eyes feature). They can be purchased individually or as a set of 6. Look for them to be released between Q3 and Q4 of 2017

SDCC17: Hot Toys’ Reveals

Hot Toys was showing off a number of newly announced 1/6th scale figures at Sideshow Collectibles' San Diego Comic Con booth. They unveiled new 1/6th scale collectible figures from their Marvel license - including Thor, Hulk, Loki, Hela, and Valkyrie from Thor Ragnarok.

There was also the world debut of the Justice League 1/6th scale collectible figure lineup. Hot Toys unveiled figures such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg along with the highly detailed 1/6th scale Batmobile with enhanced weaponry.

Then, they had some Star Wars collectibles. Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Hot Toys had the world debut of new collectible figures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Emperor Palpatine from Return of the Jedi and Grand Moff Tarkin from A New Hope. Oh, and there's a Boba Fett from the Star Wars Holiday Special (unfortunately, no Bea Arthur figure as of yet).

Finally, they showed off brand new 1/6th collectible figures from Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, AVP 2, and Back to the Future II. Check out all of the photos below:

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – 1/6th scale Ghost Rider

The legendary Ghost Rider returned in one of the most popular Marvel television series – Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - making his debut in Season 4 with Robbie Reyes being the new host. And Hot Toys has introduced their latest television masterpiece – the 1/6th scale Ghost Rider collectible figure as a Toy Fair Exclusive item only available in selected markets.

Expertly crafted based on the appearance of Ghost Rider from the television series, the collectible figure features a newly sculpted skull with LED light-up function and an articulated lower jaw, a fire-shaped hair sculpture and a finely tailored costume to create impressive likeness. Ghost Rider also comes with 2 styles of chains and a number of fire effect accessories to simulate him using his superpowers. He will be standing on a fire-themed figure stand with Ghost Rider nameplate and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. logo.


Sideshow Collectibles currently has the Ghost Rider figure available for pre-order. It's currently priced at $229.99 and expected to begin shipping in Q3 of 2017.

T+CP’s Tara McPherson Sofubi Prototype

Shinji from Tomenosuke has posted the above photograph of the prototype of Tara Mcpherson' sofubi has been completed. Last year around this time, he had posted about how the figure had taken two years to develop...well, three years total and we have a prototype. This piece will apparently be a joint effort with Circus Posterus under the T+CP brand. And while the above - head-on - shot might be difficult to depict at first. Couple it with the drawing below and you can see what the sofubi is slated to look like.
