Eric Nocella Diaz, of Argonaut Resins, has fully revealed his latest project - Piragua. The little shaved ice in a paper cone resin figure features a translucent ice head and a  a solid, footed base. Eric explains the project below:

Growing up in Spanish Harlem (El Barrio - uptown on the East side of Manhattan) on those hot summers one of my favorite things was getting a Puerto Rican shaved ice treat called a Piragua. They were like Spanish icies that were sold off a makeshift Mom and Pop cart with a huge block of ice and all sorts of awesome syrupy sweet flavors like cherry, grape, lime, strawberry, orange, etc.

The resin Piragua figurine is 5-inches in height and will come in a variety colors with the occasional chase figure thrown in. They will make their debut at New York Comic Con 2015 this October at Booth #402. Information on edition sizes and pricing is yet to be announced. Photos by Deborah Montanez.
