WWA gallery introduced Inside Out, featuring works by Jim and Tina Darling. The opening reception will take place on Friday June 24th, 2011 from 7PM to 10PM, with the show on display through July 23rd 2011.
The Darlings' new series of works celebrates what makes a home while also examining the different places in which we choose to live, and the types of lives we lead within them. Jim Darling has constructed semi-sculptural works on wood that take an outside look at the different types of buildings and areas that come to be known as home. Meanwhile, Tina Darling uses her intricate ink and watercolor works to peer inside the buildings at the people who actually turn them into homes.
