The Absence of Light and Dreamhome Heartaches
This March, Corey Helford Gallery is pleased to present “The Absence of Light”, a solo exhibition of new paintings by tattoo artist Henry Lewis. Combining classical painting techniques with tattoo-influenced imagery, Lewis infuses his portraiture with loose expressive strokes and raw depth.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday March 19th 2011 from 7PM to 10PM, and will be on view until April 6th.
The opening will be in conjunction with “Dreamhome Heartaches”, a solo exhibition of new works by Adam Wallacavage. This will be Adam Wallacavage's first Los Angeles solo exhibition. The Philadelphia-based sculptor and photographer brings his magical wonderland of sculptural works to the gallery, unveiling a new collection inspired by the decorative interiors in his Victorian Brownstone.
