I'm going to deviate from the normal review setup as this is something that doesn't really qualify as a normal review.
Yury Gitman (Banana Design Lab) has released a trio of mini LED Accent Lights which are operated off of a single 9-volt battery (comes included). Currently, there are three different designs that we'll be looking at. Rather than attempt to photograph these, I decided to repost the demo videos from the Banana Design Lab site.
First off is the Flickering Candelabra. It features three lights, each one resembling a candle, as well as a flickering candle effect. The LED lights glow a bright yellowish.
Next up is the Fireplace Simulacra. It's like a tiny yule log inside of a tiny television. This retro TV features an orange LED glow that flickers like a real fireplace.
Finally, there's the Deep-Sea Anglerfish. This one has a bright blue LED lure hanging off of its head. I'd have to say it glows the brightest of the three.
Each LED Accent Light makes use of the 9-volt battery to help it stand. The battery comes packaged alongside the Accent Light in great looking (read: sleek) packaging.
I like that you can see the entire circuit board on the back of the piece (that's also where the on/off switch is located). The front is basically an etched metal design, but I'm guessing it might have something to do with the circuits.
All three designs bring a little something to the table, whether it's color, design or flickering. Personally, I like all three. And a nice little bonus...these automatically turn off after 2 hours.
