CES 2011 was rather eventful for Mimoco, as the designer USB company joined forces with DC Comics to launch a series of Batman Mimobots. The first release is a limited-edition vintage Batman MIMOBOT design inspired by Batman’s 1939 debut in Detective Comics and will be followed by classic hero and villain assortments.
The vintage 1939-era Batman Mimobot is now available in a limited edition run of 5,000 units, ranging from $19.95 (2GB) to $59.95 (16GB). In February, it will be joined by a full Batman wave of flash drive designs including Robin, Catwoman and The Joker. More MIMOBOT series based on additional DC Comics’ characters, including Green Lantern, Superman and The Flash, will follow in the near future.
