Okay…after about 3 years of rather unexciting, cookie-cutter figures from Kidrobot…here’s one that I’m actually excited about. Through their new Black label (I hear that and think Johnnie Walker Black), Kidrobot has released Gary Baseman’s new Midnight Magi designer vinyl figure. Limited to just 200 pieces, these 8" tall figures are retailing (apparently only through the link above) for $100 a pop.
It’s nice to see both Gary Baseman and Kidrobot producing a figure that’s piqued some interest (mine being one). We’ve seen way too many stale, recycled designs plastered on Dunnys for a lifetime.
